Today's Dominican Word: GUAYAO: Slang for when a person is rejected by someone else or when you fail to win something you thought you would.
Dominican 1: Manuel se quedo guayao al sacar a bailar a Maria, y Maria le dijo que no.
Dominican 2: Manuel jugo la loto y se guayo.
English 1: Manuel asked Maria to dance, but she rejected (Guayo) him.
English 2: Manuel played the lotto, and did not win (Guayao)
