Today's Dominican Word: Serrucho – slang for “Pitching-in” or potluck. i.e. When a group of people pitch in to buy lots of alcohol to party.
Dominican: Los amigos de Manuel hicieron un serrucho y cocinaron un locrio y bebieron bastante.
English: Manuel’s friends all pitched in to buy drinks and cook a nice meal.
